This is why I’m an atheist.

So today I went with Elliot to go enrol in Tafe for this semester, and what do I encounter? In the only entrance to the tafe, the way you have to walk unless you choose to take a stroll through the garden (which I did, on the way back haha), was an old guy with what? Bibles.. Those stupid little ones that have a contents page directing you to places to read depending on how you feel. Wasn’t even ten o’clock and someone tried to hand me a bible.

I’m cool, if you’re religious. I personally believe it’s something to be embarrassed about, but if you choose to be religious then who am I to think differently of you. But don’t go to a public, state run educational institute, stand in the only entrance/exit, and shove bibles into the hands of every child who walks by.

How did facebook know? *sarcasm* haha

I find it ironic that one of the most quoted bible sayings describes jesus as god’s “only begotten son”, when the definition of ‘begotten’ is considered to be “generated by procreation”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the jesus of the bible sure as hell was not ‘generated by procreation’.
